Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (to thicken)
  • Sesame seeds and spring onions, for serving
  • Steamed rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. 2. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Pour over the chicken.
  3. 3. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours until chicken is very tender.
