Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Pan-seared salmon fillets with a sticky honey garlic glaze — restaurant quality, naturally gluten-free, and on the table in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and spring onions, for serving
  • Steamed broccoli or rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix honey, tamari, garlic, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. 2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon skin-side up for 4 minutes, then flip and cook for 3 more minutes.
  3. 3. Pour the honey garlic sauce into the pan and spoon it over the salmon continuously for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glaze.
  4. 4. Serve over rice or with steamed broccoli, garnished with sesame seeds and spring onions.
