Crispy Chicken Nuggets with Honey Mustard

Homemade chicken nuggets with an extra-crispy golden coating — baked, not fried. Serve with honey mustard dipping sauce for a kid-approved dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500g (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray lightly with oil.
  2. 2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl. Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
  3. 3. Dip chicken pieces into the egg, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly. Place on the baking sheet.
  4. 4. Spray the tops lightly with oil. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping once halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  5. 5. Mix honey, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise for the dipping sauce. Serve nuggets hot with the honey mustard.
