Lemon Herb Baked Chicken Breasts

Tender and juicy chicken baked with lemon, garlic, and herbs — a simple yet elegant meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. 4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C / 165°F.
  5. 5. Rest for 5 minutes before serving, and drizzle any pan juices over the chicken.
