Air Fryer Stuffed Peppers

Bell peppers filled with a savoury beef and rice mixture, topped with melted cheese — all made in the air fryer in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bell peppers, halved and deseeded
  • 200g (7 oz) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. 1. Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat. Mix in tomato sauce, cooked rice, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
  2. 2. Fill each pepper half with the beef mixture, pressing it in firmly. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  3. 3. Place stuffed peppers in the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C (360°F) for 15–18 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  4. 4. Let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
