Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Savoury Asian-spiced ground turkey served in crispy lettuce cups. Light, fresh, and packed with flavour — a low-carb dinner ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 400g (14 oz) ground turkey
  • 1 head butter or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds and chili sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook ground turkey, breaking it apart, for 6–7 minutes until cooked through and slightly golden.
  2. 2. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.
  3. 3. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Toss to coat and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  4. 4. Serve the turkey mixture in lettuce cups, topped with shredded carrots, spring onions, and sesame seeds. Add chili sauce to taste.
