Honey Garlic Salmon

Pan-seared salmon with a sticky, caramelised honey garlic glaze — a 20-minute dinner that looks impressive and tastes even better.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges and steamed vegetables, for serving

Instructions

  1. 1. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon skin-side up for 4 minutes, then flip.
  2. 2. Add butter to the pan. Once melted, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add honey and soy sauce and stir.
  3. 3. Spoon the glaze over the salmon continuously for 2–3 minutes until caramelised and the salmon is cooked through.
  4. 4. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and steamed vegetables or rice.
